Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced Databricks Lead to design, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. The role is based in Pune and requires 8+ years of experience with full-time employment.

You will develop ETL/ELT pipelines, implement bronze-to-gold data models with Delta Lake, and build batch and streaming workflows using Structured Streaming. Collaboration with data architects and governance compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Strong experience with Databricks platform and PySpark.
• Proficiency in SQL, notebooks, and Delta Lake architectures.
• Experience with batch and streaming pipelines and Spark tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Proven ability to collaborate with data architects and business teams.
