Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking an experienced Databricks Developer to build and optimize scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will develop ETL/ELT pipelines, implement Delta Lake layers, and ensure governance across data workflows.

You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver robust data solutions, while applying CI/CD practices and cloud integrations. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to cutting‑edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL and notebooks in ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and data lake architectures.
• Proficient in Spark performance tuning and job optimization.
• Git, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance compliance.
• Integrate Databricks with cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Troubleshoot data jobs, environments, and clusters.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Notebooks).
• Implement data processing workflows across bronze, silver, and gold layers using Delta Lake.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines using Structured Streaming.
