Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Databricks & Gen AI Banking Domain Manager to lead data engineering workstreams for banking clients within Advisory. You will design and build data pipelines, data integration, and transformation solutions using Databricks and Gen AI, while guiding delivery across planning and execution.

You will motivate and coach teams, manage performance, and shape cloud-native platforms with Azure, Snowflake, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Leading data engineering workstreams focused on Databricks and generative AI solutions for banking clients.
• Managing project planning, budgeting, delivery schedules, and scope across cloud data modernization initiatives.
• Directing teams in the design and development of data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
• Guiding the build of cloud-native data platforms using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and AWS tools.
• Reviewing data architecture, modeling, and validation approaches to support scalable analytics and reliable data delivery.
• Coaching team members on technical problem solving, performance tuning, and data engineering methods.
• Applying AI fluency and AI‑human collaboration methods to shape practical generative AI use cases and delivery plans.
• Monitoring data quality, security, and governance practices across platform development and migration activities.
• Identifying opportunities to modernize legacy banking data environments and improve processing efficiency.
• Addressing delivery issues, client concerns, and team conflicts with clear escalation and action plans.

As a Databricks & Gen AI Banking Domain Manager you will lead data engineering workstreams that design and build data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions for banking clients within our Advisory practice. As a Manager you will motivate and coach team members, manage performance, and guide delivery across planning, budgeting, execution, and completion while applying judgment, technology, and a clear understanding of business needs. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will help shape client-facing data solutions that turn raw data into usable insights, with a focus on Databricks and generative AI in a banking context.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
