Job summary

As an Azure Databricks - Manager, you will lead and manage client service accounts, driving client engagement workstreams by supervising teams and independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop quality deliverables. As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to mentor junior staff, manage client accounts, and strategically plan and execute projects. You will play a visible role in cultivating meaningful client relationships, inspiring your teams, and navigating ambiguity, all while upholding quality standards and contributing to broader business strategies.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Data and Analytics Engineering group within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network. You will have the opportunity to work within our Data Modernisation practice, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same. You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality, leveraging team strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. Responsibilities

• Leading the design and implementation of data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and other cloud-based platforms
• Managing data integration and transformation processes to support client data modernization initiatives
• Developing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs)
• Overseeing the deployment and maintenance of data infrastructure, confirming scalability and performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives
• Utilizing data modeling and dimensional modeling techniques to enhance data architecture
• Implementing data quality and validation measures to maintain data integrity
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth and development
• Engaging in strategic planning to identify opportunities for data‑driven improvements
• Promoting the adoption of innovative data engineering practices and technologies across projects

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
