Job summary

State Street in Bengaluru is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will leverage PySpark, SQL, and Spark optimization techniques across Azure services, with hybrid work options and collaboration across global teams.

Strong communication and governance awareness are required to ensure secure, scalable data solutions. Exposure to Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, RBAC, and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps will be valued as you contribute

Qualifications

• Databricks expertise with notebooks, clusters, jobs and Delta Lake.
• Unity Catalog RBAC configuration and data governance.
• Proficient in Spark, PySpark, SQL across Azure Data Factory and Blob Storage.

Responsibilities

• Databricks notebooks, clusters and jobs to implement data pipelines.
• Configure Unity Catalog RBAC for access control.
• Develop and optimize PySpark/SQL code; debug and performance tune.
• Collaborate with teams using Azure Data Factory and Blob Storage.
• Follow secure coding practices and governance standards.
• Participate in real-world coding challenges
