Job summary

Aissel Technologies in Hubballi, Karnataka is seeking a Database Specialist (Fresher) to manage and optimise loading of data into our databases. You will ensure data integrity, performance, and timely updates, applying SQL and ETL practices to support data-driven projects.

Work with data analysts and developers on data requirements, implement loading pipelines for MySQL and PostgreSQL, address quality checks post-load, and troubleshoot issues to improve reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and ETL pipelines is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data loading, transformation, and quality checks.
• Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., AWS/Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Database Specialist Freshers to manage and optimise the loading of data into our databases. This role will be critical in ensuring data integrity, performance, and timely updates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database systems, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques

Responsibilities

1. 1. Data Loading:
   • Design and implement efficient data loading processes for various databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
   • Monitor and optimise the performance of data load activities.
2. 2. ETL Processes:
   • Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL processes to ensure accurate data migration and transformation.
3. 3. Data Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct data validation and integrity checks post-load to ensure accuracy.
   • Identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues.
4. a)Work closely with data analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful implementation.
5. b)Participate in cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects.
6. 5. Troubleshooting:
   • Diagnose and resolve issues related to data loading and database performance.
   • Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Experience in database management, understanding of data loading, or ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with various open-source database systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data integration tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
