Job summary

NITYO is seeking an experienced Database Engineer in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. The role requires a strong background in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server with 8-10 years of hands-on experience. You will manage database objects, generate reports, and ensure smooth operation of the database systems.

The ideal candidate has proficiency in troubleshooting, change control processes, and database administration. Position is a contract role.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience as a Database Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with database administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create and manage database objects and users.
• Proficient in generating SQL reports.
• Familiarity with change control processes and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Perform export/import operations, database creation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Administer and create all database objects and users upon request from the application development team.
• Create basic SQL database reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis as per RFP and distribute them to respective stakeholders.
• Follow processes for change control, manage problems, incidents, and service calls using the provided tools.
• Monitor Database, OS, Network, and Database processes regularly and implement necessary measures to rectify issues.
• Experience with RMAN and restore procedures.
