Job summary

TELUS Digital in India seeks an experienced database and backend specialist to design, develop, and optimize database objects, with focus on data integrity and migration scripting.

You will deploy cloud-native apps on GCP and AWS, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, perform tuning, code reviews, and collaborate in an Agile delivery environment.

5+ years of overall experience required; familiarity with Netcracker CPQ and TM Forum APIs is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience in database and backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and data integrity.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and containerized apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize database objects (SQL/PLSQL, views, procedures).
• Perform database tuning and query optimization to ensure data integrity.
• Design, deploy, and support cloud-native apps on GCP/AWS; containerize with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Code reviews, mentor juniors, enforce backend standards in Agile delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, and product stakeholders in Agile teams.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and optimize database objects including SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, views, and data migration scripts.
• Must have 5+ years of overall experience.
• Perform database tuning, query optimization, and ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Design, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive backend development standards and best practice.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and product stakeholders in Agile delivery environment.
