Job summary

Osfin.ai, Bengaluru-based, is seeking a Database Administrator to join our growing team. You will work closely with the founders to shape a scalable database platform and ensure robust performance and security across global deployments.

The role requires deep Oracle DBA expertise, HA implementation, and cloud familiarity with OCI and AWS. You will contribute to build management guidelines and drive reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19C and related tooling.
• Experience implementing high availability features in Oracle environments.
• Proven skills in performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Expertise in DB security measures: AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with founders to co-create scalable database solutions.
• Develop and monitor a platform capable of global scale.
• Define and implement engineering DNA for Osfin.ai's database systems.
• Ensure security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place.

What do we expect from you?

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c & 19C
• Strong Performance tuning skills – query-level tuning / enhancing query performance / DB tuning / Memory level tuning/execution plan analysis, etc.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery, etc
• Experience in implementing high availability features of Oracle Database
• Knowledge of DB Security, viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE
• Develop and monitor the implementation of test application code in client-server environments

settings to ensure that the software adheres to build management guidelines

• Exposure to Cloud technologies like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS
