Coditude is looking for a skilled Database Administrator to handle the development, deployment, and maintenance of databases. The role requires extensive experience with MySQL and MSSQL, alongside proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in database administration, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with Power BI is preferred. This role is crucial for ensuring database security and performance monitoring.

Job description

Position Overview

• Database development, deployment, and code review.
• Administration and maintenance of MySQL, MSSQL, and various other databases.
• Troubleshooting and performance monitoring of internal DB\'s.
• Perform database migrations and upgrades as needed.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with other areas of IT to design and implement efficient database schemas and troubleshoot performance issues of existing code.
• Participate in on-call support for database-related incidents.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any database-related issues.
• Ensure database security by applying best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) English: C1 Advanced.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
