Job summary

adesso India is seeking a Lead Data Solution Architect to drive cloud data architecture initiatives for enterprise clients. You will shape migration strategies to Azure, guide Agile delivery teams, and translate architectural vision into tangible implementations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration with cross-geography teams, and governance of architectural standards while delivering scalable cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with proven experience as a Solution Architect in cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing on-prem to Cloud (Azure) migrations.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models, with the ability to drive architectural decisions in that context.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience conducting architectural governance/reviews and managing technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Solution Architecture for cloud-based data platforms, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure Databricks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Plan, recommend, and enable end-to-end migration strategies from on-premises to Azure Cloud.
• Represent and champion the architectural vision within Scrum teams, partnering closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.
• Lead architectural reviews and proactively identify and address technical debt.
• Collaborate across cross-functional and cross-geography teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
