Job summary

Capco is seeking a Data Scientist – R programming in Mumbai to drive analytics for financial services clients. You will perform data manipulation, build statistical models and visualization layers to convey insights to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have experience with machine learning techniques, visualization tools like ggplot2/Shiny dashboards, and familiarity with Databricks. Proficiency in Git/version control and Agile delivery (Scrum) is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques (caret, randomForest, xgboost).
• Experience with data visualization tools (ggplot2, Shiny dashboards).
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling concepts.
