Job summary

Topsoe is seeking an operations-focused Data Scientist to deliver data-driven analytics in production. You will own Python-based solutions, co-manage the Clearview product, and collaborate with engineers and customers to ensure robust operation of analytics in real-world environments.

You’ll bring a Master’s degree in a technical field, strong Python skills, and a track record of supporting or operating production analytics.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., CS, Applied Math, Chemical/Process Engineering, Software Engineering) is desirable.
• Strong Python development skills with debugging, maintenance, and production support experience.
• Proven data science experience with production or customer-facing systems.
• Ownership mindset to take a codebase from development to reliable operation.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining deployed analytics or digital solutions.
• Structured, practical approach to solving operational problems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams and with customers.
• Curiosity about chemical and process engineering concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

What you will bring:

We are looking for candidates who are ready to make a difference from day one. You will bring:

• A relevant academic degree, such as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Chemical or Process Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical or quantitative discipline
• Strong Python development skills, with hands‑on experience in debugging, maintaining, and supporting operational solutions
• A track record in data science and supporting or operating production or customer‑facing systems
• The drive and confidence to take ownership of a complete codebase and see projects through to successful operation
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining deployed analytical or digital solutions
• A structured, practical approach to solving operational challenges
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about chemical and process engineering

It will be an added advantage if you have any experience in :
