Role- Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist / Associate Director, Data Science

Key Responsibilities

• Define the AI roadmap, choose tooling, and establish best practices for model building, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
• Architect, develop, and deploy large-scale ML and GenAI-powered pipelines from ideation to production.
• Own the full data science project lifecycle, from opportunity identification and stakeholder partnership to model evaluation and communication of results.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Essential Qualifications

• 3-12 years of relevant experience in Data Science or AI, with lead roles requiring at least 2 years in a technical leadership position.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and embedding-based retrieval systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python and its core libraries, including NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Proven experience delivering at least one end-to-end GenAI or advanced NLP project (e.g., custom NER, Q&A systems, summarization) into production.
• Familiarity with deployment and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, and API frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
• A Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field like Computer Science or Statistics is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement.
