Job summary

Colruyt Group India is seeking a senior AI/GenAI software engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs and Agentic AI architectures. You will build reliable AI workflows, focusing on tool calling, memory/state management, and robust error handling.

The role requires strong Python expertise, production-grade API development with FastAPI and Pydantic, and experience delivering scalable cloud-native AI systems with CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs and Agentic AI architectures.

• Develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI; apply Pydantic validation and streaming responses.

Profile Description

• 10+ years of softwareengineering experience, with 5-6+ years focused on AI, GenAI, LLMs, andcloud-native application development.

• Hands-on experiencedeveloping APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, asynchronous programming, andstreaming responses.
• Proven track recorddelivering production-grade AI solutions, including deployment,monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Experience buildingAgentic AI applications using tool/function calling, structured outputs,workflow orchestration, memory, and state management.
• Strong understanding ofRAG architectures, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, and retrievalevaluation.
• Solid foundation inmachine learning, statistics, experimentation, and AI model evaluation.
• Deep understanding of LLMconcepts, including tokenization, embeddings, transformers, attentionmechanisms, and model limitations.
• Experience implementing AIsafety, observability, prompt-injection protection, and data governancepractices.
• Hands-on experience withLangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQLand NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB and data modeling bestpractices.
• Experience working withAzure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, BlobStorage, and related Azure services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD,Agile/Scrum methodologies, and modern software engineering practices.
