Job summary

Whereuelevate is looking for a data scientist in Pune, Maharashtra with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. The role involves solving complex problems with diverse data sets and creating effective data science solutions.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in Python, SQL, and MLOps, along with strong statistical analysis skills. You'll work collaboratively in a team and actively contribute to end-to-end data science implementations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience of end-to-end data science implementations.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (any database) is a must.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex and extremely diverse data sets to solve real world problems.
• Write highly optimized code to deliver scalable data science solutions for our client’s problems.
• Work seamlessly in a collaborative environment with specialists in machine learning engineering, and design.
• Create efficient steady state inference generation pipelines using best practices of MLOps.
• Add real-world impact to your data science expertise and develop story boards for explaining business benefits of data science outputs to business users.
• Work with data science teams of large organizations, understand their methodologies and create solutions which works well with their frameworks.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience of end-to-end data science implementations.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (any database) is a must.
• Familiarity with statistical, data-mining, and exploratory data analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning and advanced analytics (such as R, Python, and Scala).
• Experience working with large data sets which include relational databases, streaming data, object data and unstructured data.
• Good team player with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both colleagues and clients.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly and optimally.
• Excellent knowledge of ML ops and Data science deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of big data concepts Data Lakes and Data warehousing is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information systems, IT) / MCA / MCS.
