Job summary

WesBank in India is seeking a data analytics professional to support advanced analytics within a large financial services environment. You will work with data management and analytics to translate business needs into measurable insights and build scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong technical skills in SAS/SQL, and the ability to handle big data, while developing models and improving existing ones.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: B Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related degree.
• Preferred qualification: Honours Degree.
• 1–2 years’ experience within Data Analytics or Customer Analytics.
• Experience in Model development, maintenance and optimisation of existing models will be advantageous.
• Intermediate proficiency to code in SQL is required.
• Intermediate proficiency to code in SAS will be advantageous.
• Python or R would be beneficial.
