IFF is seeking a data science professional in India to transform data into actionable insights across forecasting, planning, and performance management. You will design analytical solutions and collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, and IT to translate business challenges into data-driven results.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, OR, supply chain, industrial engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Experience in data science, advanced analytics, forecasting or supply-chain analytics.
• Proven track record delivering analytical solutions that generate business value.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting methodologies and predictive modeling.
• Experience developing ML models in a business environment.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for analysis, modeling and automation.
• Strong SQL skills, data management and data preparation practices.
• Experience using data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights.

• Prepare, validate, and analyze large, complex datasets to support forecasting, scenario planning, and performance management activities.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain statistical and machine learning models that address business needs and improve planning capabilities.
• Support end-to-end project delivery, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and knowledge transfer.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, analytical methodologies, and automation opportunities that can drive continuous improvement and long-term business value.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering analytical solutions that generate measurable business value.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting methodologies, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Experience developing and implementing machine learning models in a business environment.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), data management, and data preparation practices.
• Experience using data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
