Job summary

Sabre Travel Technologies is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join the Data Intelligence team. You will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms powering AI/ML use cases for airline customers.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on data quality, reliability, and performance will be essential as you contribute to cloud-based, real-time data platforms and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in building data pipelines in cloud environments (preferably GCP).
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala).
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Beam).
• Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Self-driven, ownership mindset, and commitment to delivery.

Development & Engineering – Data Engineer Team Description Sabre is seeking a talented Data Engineer to support the Data Intelligence team. This person will report to the Engineering Manager – Data Intelligence. The Data Intelligence team is responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, streaming systems, and analytics platforms that power customer-facing products and insights. The team works on large-scale data processing, real‑time data integration, and enabling AI/ML‑driven use cases for airline customers.
