Job summary

Imarticus is seeking a Data Science Coach to join the Training Team in Mumbai. You will train learners in data extraction, cleaning, modeling and insight generation using Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau and Power BI.

You will guide learners through end-to-end analytics processes and support grading, mock interviews, and placement activities. You will also lead hands-on pilot projects for real-world DS problems and work with program managers to continuously improve learner satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on analytics, data science and ML experience
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT or Stats/Maths/Economics (other backgrounds considered)
• Ability to train on analytics project lifecycle, statistical concepts, coding, modeling
• Should be proficient with Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, ML & DL

Responsibilities

• Train learners on data extraction, cleaning, modeling and insight generation using analytical tools and technologies
• Provide guidance, training and problem solving assistance to learners for Data Science projects
• Train learners on end-to-end problem solving journey through various statistical and coding tools
• Assist with grading, assessments, mock interviews, and collaborate with program managers and career services to readiness
• Conduct interview preparation sessions to help learners succeed in interviews and placements
• Lead pilots and hands-on projects solving real-time DS problems for clients using statistical and modeling techniques
• Collaborate with Analytics Program Managers to identify improvement opportunities and learner satisfaction
• Design and collaborate with Content team for product upgrades; spend 50% bandwidth on training; remaining on assessments and real-world problems

Join our Team as a Data Science Coach
We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated, and creative Data Science Coach as part of our Training Team.

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Train learners on how to conduct data extraction, cleaning, modeling and insight generation to drive business results using various analytical tools and technologies.
• Provide guidance, training and problem solving assistance to learners for various Data Science projects
• Train learners on end-to-end problem solving journey through various statistical/coding tools and techniques
• Helps with grading, assessment, mock interviews, and work with the program managers and career services team closely to make the learners industry ready.
• Conducting interview preparation sessions to enable the learners to crack the interview and support placement activities.
• Lead pilot projects hands‑on to solve real‑time data science problems for clients using various statistical and modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with Program Managers (Analytics) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased learner satisfaction.
• Design Collaborate with the Content team for product upgradation and content creation. 50% of the bandwidth will be spent on training learners. The remaining time will be spent on assisting with assessments and solving real-world business problems for clients (hands‑on).

The Experience You Bring to the Table:

• 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in Analytics, Data Science and Machine Learning using Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI etc. to solve business problems
• Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/IT or Stats/Maths/Economics (other backgrounds can be considered if rest of the candidature is good)
• Ability to train on how to manage analytics project lifecycle, statistical concepts, coding, modeling and problem solving on the whole
• Should be good with Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning
