Job summary

ScaleupAlly requires a Data Quality Engineer to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of data across databases, pipelines, dashboards, and reports. You will perform data validation, quality testing, ETL/ELT testing, data reconciliation, and identify discrepancies in collaboration with Data Eng, QA, and BI teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in data quality or analytics, strong SQL and Python basics, and exposure to Power BI and cloud data tools such as

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Quality, QA, Data Testing, or Data Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data validation, and database testing.
• Experience with ETL/ELT testing and data reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of Python and Power BI.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform data quality checks and validation using SQL.
• Validate data across source, staging, and target systems.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Identify duplicates, missing data, and inconsistencies.
• Perform data reconciliation and root-cause analysis.
• Validate Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Create and execute data quality test cases.
• Track and report data issues using JIRA.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and QA teams to resolve data issues.

Purpose of Job

ScaleupAlly is looking for a Data Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of data across databases, data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems. The role involves data validation, quality testing, ETL/ELT testing, data reconciliation, and identifying data discrepancies while working closely with Data Engineering, QA, and BI teams to maintain high-quality and reliable data.
