Job summary

Prodapt Solutions is seeking an experienced individual to lead GDPR implementation and compliance across the organization in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years in data protection and a mandatory professional certification such as CIPP/E or CIPM.

Your responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, training staff on GDPR, and managing data breach responses. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with global data protection regulations, are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the GDPR implementation and compliance efforts across the organization.
• Conduct thorough GDPR risk assessments and impact analyses.
• Develop and implement GDPR compliance policies and procedures.
• Train and educate staff on GDPR requirements and best practices.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Monitor data protection compliance and data processing activities.
• Manage data breach response and reporting procedures.
• Perform regular audits to ensure ongoing GDPR compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in data protection laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure the implementation of technical safeguards.
• Document and maintain records of processing activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in law, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in data protection, privacy laws, or GDPR compliance.
• Professional certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar is mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with data protection impact assessments, data protection principles, and data breach management.

• Experience in a legal advisory role or as a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
