Job summary

Prodapt seeks a Senior Data Protection Officer to lead GDPR implementation and compliance across the organization in Chennai. You will conduct risk assessments, develop policies, train staff, and coordinate with IT and security to implement safeguards.

The role requires a law/tech background with 10+ years in data protection, and professional certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to privacy and data protection.
  • Proficiency in using data protection management tools and software.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a similar role within a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with other global data protection regulations such as CCPA, HIPAA, APPI, DPDPA, POPIA, PIPEDA etc.
  • Experience in a legal advisory role or as a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
