HSBC Software Development India is seeking a Senior GCP Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work on BigQuery, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud SQL, and other services, building automation with Terraform and Unix shell scripts.

The role involves coordinating with multiple teams, ensuring secure, reliable deployments, and contributing to DevOps and Agile processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Formación

• Senior data platform engineer with Cloud (GCP) experience 6–10 years.
• Hands-on GCP infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with BigQuery, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, KMS, Pub/Sub, Bigtable.
• Experience with Terraform scripting and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience deploying Postgres and ForgeRock/Transmit components; Jenkins and GitHub.
• GCP Associate Engineer/Architect certification.
• Strong collaboration and deployment pattern knowledge; DevOps & Agile.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Security domain experience.

In this role, you will:

• Primary accountability is as a GCP infrastructure Engineer. Working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as infrastructure engineer
• Working on various GCP components like, Big Query, Kubernetes, Compute engine, Proxys, Cloud SQL, IAM, KMS, Pub-sub, Bigtable, Creating and deploying certificates etc.
• Working on Terraform scripting, Python, and Unix shell scripting Working on automation using Jenkins, artifact repository and source repository and knowledge about airflow.
• Coordinating and collaborating with other teams within bank. Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Accountable for Analysing and troubleshooting in GCP environments.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Senior data platform engineer with Cloud (GCP) (Experience - 6 to 10 Years)
• Strong hands-on experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as infrastructure engineer.
• Working experience on various GCP components like, Big Query, Kubernetes, Compute engine, IAM, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, KMS, Pub-sub, Bigtable etc. Working experience on Terraform scripting and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience on deploying Postgres and third-party components like ForgeRock and Transmit components. Experience using Jenkins and GitHub
• GCP certified Associate Engineer/Architect. Coordination and Collaboration with other teams within bank
• Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Experience on various deployment patterns on GCP. Strong Knowledge of DevOps & Agile Discipline
• Excellent communication skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate the results and analysis effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience on Security domain. Good Analytical, Debugging and Problem-solving skills.
