BCforward is seeking a Senior Data Platform Operations Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to own and operate our large-scale data platform and data lake. This senior IC role focuses on production support, monitoring, upgrades, and security rather than building new data pipelines.

You will work with globally distributed teams across the US and India to ensure platform reliability and performance, handle incidents, and drive improvements in platform health and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Apache Airflow in production.
• Expertise in data platform and data lake operations in enterprise environments.
• Experience with platform upgrades, dependency management, and security compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot latency, failures, and processing issues in production.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams.

We're Hiring: Senior Data Platform Operations Engineer (India)

Are you passionate about operating and supporting large-scale enterprise data platforms in production environments?

We're looking for an experienced Data Platform Operations Engineer to take ownership of an internally developed enterprise data platform and data lake. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on platform operations, production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and security, rather than building new data pipelines.
