Job summary

TVH in Pune, India, is seeking a senior Data Integration Leader to define and drive the enterprise data integration strategy, overseeing APIs, ETL/ELT, and streaming architectures. You will lead a growing team of data engineers and specialists to deliver scalable, secure integrations across ERP, CRM, IoT, and cloud platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in data integration with 2+ years in leadership, strong governance, and collaboration with analytics and governance teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in data integration, data engineering, management, with 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proficient in realtime, batch and streaming data processing with platforms like OIC, Kong, Kafka, Fivetran, Boomi, Workato; deep ETL/ELT and cloud data platforms; and data pipeline orchestration with Airflow, dbt.
  • Solid insights on infrastructure architectural concepts (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, Networking, security).
  • Good understanding of data modeling, API design, metadata management, and distributed systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the execution of the data integration strategy and governance for enterprise analytics and data products.
  • Lead and grow a Data Integration team including data engineers, integration specialists, and leads.
  • Align integration solutions with enterprise goals, priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the budget for the Data Integration function and resource allocation to tools and platforms.
  • Oversee design of robust, scalable integrations: APIs, ETL/ELT, streaming architectures.
  • Ensure integration of structured and unstructured data from ERP, CRM, IoT, cloud platforms, and third-party providers.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of data integration services across environments.
  • Drive observability, monitoring, and ITIL-aligned processes for operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with data product, analytics, and enterprise architects; implement governance controls and audit mechanisms.
  • Stay current with cloud-native data integration trends and evaluate modern tools and platforms.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration flows and interfaces.
  • Develop onboarding and operational playbooks for new integrations and tools.
  • Foster engineering excellence and cross-team collaboration; coach team members.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the execution of the data integration strategy, including governance of integration lifecycle, middleware tools and operating model, to support enterprise analytics, operational systems, and data products.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing Data Integration team, including data engineers, integration specialists, integration developers, and technical leads.
  • Align integration solutions with enterprise goals, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the budget for the Data Integration function, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for tools, technologies, and personnel to achieve strategic objectives while adhering to financial guidelines.
Integration Architecture & Design
  • Oversee the design of robust, scalable, and secure integrations, data ingestion and transformation pipelines, including APIs, ETL/ELT, and streaming architectures.
  • Ensure effective integration of structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources (e.g., ERP, CRM, IoT, cloud platforms, third-party providers).
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data integration services across production and non-production environments.
  • Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, aligning with the ITIL mgmt processes to ensure operational continuity and quick resolution of issues.
  • Manage data load performance tuning, scheduling, and SLA adherence for critical data pipelines.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partner management
  • Partner with data product teams, analytics teams, application owners, and enterprise architects to understand data needs and develop fit-for-purpose integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Security, and Compliance teams to implement appropriate controls, policies, and audit mechanisms.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Innovation & Tooling
  • Align with Enterprise Architecture to evaluate and recommend modern integration tools and platforms.
  • Stay current on trends in cloud-native data integration architecture trends, to ensure the organization remains ahead of the curve.
Documentation & Standards
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration flows, system interfaces, standards, and design patterns.
  • Develop onboarding and operational playbooks for new integrations and tools.
Team Development & Culture
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, documentation, continuous improvement, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Support team members growth through coaching, feedback, and learning opportunities.
Required Qualifications

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Data product principles, DevOps, or data platform product thinking.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
