Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in Guidewire DataHub Infocenter, SQL, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Personal Lines, specifically with Guidewire Policy Center. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze complex requirements and deliver high quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Guidewire DataHub and Policy Center.


• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration and ETL processes.


• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading.


• Ensure the quality and integrity of data through rigorous testing and validation processes.


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.


• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.


• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Guidewire and data management.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Guidewire DataHub and Policy Center.


• Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.


• In depth knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Personal Lines insurance domain.


• Experience in data modeling and data integration techniques.


• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Guidewire products such as Billing Center and Claim Center.


• Familiarity with cloud technologies and data warehousing solutions.


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).


• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Relevant certifications in Guidewire or data management are a plus.


• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
