Job summary

Kenvue is seeking a Data Governance Senior Financial Analyst to champion the Common Information Model across Finance and govern key master data domains, including COA and trading partners. The role offers hybrid work in Bangalore, with opportunities to shape governance across environments.

The candidate should have 3–6 years in accounting/finance, proficiency in Excel/Power BI, and strong stakeholder management. English fluency is required for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data governance framework for Kenvue Finance domain and governance activities such as establishing policies and standards, building metrics, closing gaps in processes and workflows, enhancements of related tools, etc.
  • Establish and maintain global data standards and governance of Accounts and other Finance master data dimensions.
  • Maintain updated documentation such as Data Standards, Data Dictionary, Work/Process Flows, Desk Top Procedures and Work Instructions to support the execution of Master Data maintenance across environments/tools.
  • Manage the run state intake process for master data/mappings/hierarchies, capture requirements, run governance forums, and implement across environments.
  • Manage design and testing of master data Workflow Tools (MDG, PowerApps flows, SharePoint forms) to ensure data integrity and proper handoffs.
  • Define rules for data quality checks and defect resolution processes in CIM design adoption.

What you will do

Data Governance Senior Financial Analyst

This position reports into Data Governance Manager (United States), and can be based at Bangalore, India (Primary) or Sao Paulo, Brazil (Secondary).

The Data Governance SFA is the champion of Common Information Model across Kenvue , and is the subject matter expert for Accounts , responsible for governance of Kenvue COA, Legal Entities, Trading Partners, Business Partners, and related hierarchies/mappings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead data governance framework for Kenvue Finance domain and governance activities such as establishing policies and standards, building metric s , closing gaps in processes and workflows, enhancements of related tools, etc. and shar ing best practices and knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain global data standards and governance of Accounts and other Finance master data dimensions. Define roles and responsibilities along with accountability expectations for everyone involved in creation and maintenance of master data for seamless master data management.
  • Maintain updated documentation such as Data Standards, Data Dictionary, Work/Process Flows, Desk Top Procedures (DTP's ) and Work Instructions (WI's) to support the execution of Master Data maintenance across environments/tools.
  • Manage the run state intake process in a timely manner for master data/mappings/hierarchies, capture and document requirements and outcomes, run governance forums, and implement across environments by thoroughly understanding the data model and Kenvue ecosystem. Identify gaps in process, recommend controls, and implement solutions.
  • Manage design, provide enhancement requirements, perform testing of master data Workflow Tools (MDG, PowerApps flows, SharePoint forms, etc.) to ensure controls are in place within applications to ensure data integrity and handoffs between systems.
  • Define rules for data quality checks, review defects, establish defect resolution process flows, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve and adoption/adherence of CIM design, to ensure trustworthy golden records/master data.
  • Build and/or manage training materials and lead training sessions for data owners and teams involved in the process flows, and establish strong collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc finance data related projects as well as establishing new and/or improving existing processes, along with Ad Hoc user queries.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required in accounting, finance, or business.
  • 3 to 6 ex perience in accounting/finance/ SAP or master data/governance required .
  • Proficiency with Office 360, SharePoint, intermediate to advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI required .
  • Fluency in English language required .
  • Strong stakeholder management skills required
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Interest in or familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, or applications preferred.
  • Understanding SAP, Alteryx, Knime , Pyth
