Job summary

As a Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data and systems from cyber threats through risk assessments and security audits. Within our Cybersecurity practice, you will focus on developing secure systems and providing proactive solutions to protect information assets for clients. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

Collaborating with business analysts and data architects, you will implement data integration solutions for metadata, data lineage, and data quality. Your responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, documenting data models, and resolving data issues through root‑cause analysis. By working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will contribute to improving data integrity and security, confirming compliance with data governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining metadata processing solutions using tools like Ab Initio Meta Hub and Informatica EDC
• Developing data integration solutions for metadata, data lineage, and data quality
• Implementing data quality processes to validate data integrity across the organization
• Conducting root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Collaborating with business analysts and data architects to understand and meet requirements
• Documenting data models at physical, logical, and conceptual levels to support IT and analytics initiatives
• Analyzing and transferring data across systems to integrate and link diverse data sets
• Leading the development of custom data lineage solutions for complex technology platforms
• Enhancing metadata and data pipelines to facilitate periodic data quality monitoring
• Engaging with stakeholders to address data mapping and conversion issues
• Supporting the definition of goals to improve data collaboration and reduce information security risks
• Utilizing API integrations and development skills in React.Js, Node.js, and PythonSpark to enhance data solutions
• Promoting cybersecurity governance and compliance within data management frameworks
• Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of data-driven initiatives

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to information security governance and risk management, including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent security leadership credentials
