Job description

Responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining Data governance practices for different Data Domains/Data Products. Ensures that data is accurate, consistent, secure, and properly managed throughout its lifecycle. Collaborates with Data owners, Stewards, and Technical teams to drive data quality, compliance, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and policies across all data domains.
• Conduct data readiness assessments and support data product certification.
• Apply governance policies, perform governance checks, and enforce data quality controls.
• Collaborate with Data owners, Stewards, and Technical teams to ensure data compliance and business value.
• Monitor and improve metadata management and data catalog usage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Stewardship.
• Strong background in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience with Data Catalog tools (e.g., Atlan, Collibra) and Data Stewardship.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake.
• Proven ability to govern data assets consistently across data domains.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
