Job summary

Tekskills in Mumbai or Pune is seeking an experienced Python/Data Governance professional to automate metadata ingestion with Collibra, configure workflows, and design end‑to‑end data lineage. The role requires 4–6 years of hands‑on experience, strong SQL, and familiarity with cloud data platforms.

You will develop reusable Python modules (pandas/NumPy/Great Expectations) for data profiling and quality checks, and conduct user trainings on Collibra search and stewardship.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data governance, automation, and analytics.
• Proficient in Python scripting for data processing, QA, and metadata ingestion.
• Experience with Collibra data governance center, APIs, and metamodel configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation scripts for metadata ingestion into Collibra using Collibra REST and Core APIs.
• Operate Collibra workflows and metamodel configurations, enabling governance processes.
• Design end-to-end data lineage from source systems through Collibra to analytics platforms.
• Create reusable analytics modules in Python for clinical trial, real-world, and commercial data.
• Strengthen SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms.
• Write Python scripts (pandas, NumPy, Great Expectations) to profile large datasets, automate data quality checks, and build reusable data validation frameworks.
• Conduct sessions for business users on Collibra search, data lineage visualization, and stewardship responsibilities.
• Experience with Collibra APIs and automation (import/export, workflow automation).
• Prior experience integrating Collibra Edge with cloud or AWS Glue.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, translating governance concepts to business users.
• Write Python scripts to reconcile data between source systems and regulatory reports.

• 1. Develop Python-based automation script for bulk metadata ingestion into Collibra using Collibra REST API and Core API (pyCollibra experience a big plus).
• 2. Hands-on experience operating Collibra Data Governance Centre workflows, metamodel configuration, operating model setup
• 3. Design and implement end-to-end data lineage from source systems through Collibra to downstream analytics platforms.
• 4.Create reusable analytics modules in Python (clinical trial data, real-world evidence, commercial data).
• 5.Good to have strong SQL and experience with cloud data platforms.
