Job summary

PwC in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Data Engineers - Databricks - Manager to lead data engineering work on design/build of data pipelines, integration, and transformation for cloud platforms.

You will mentor teams, manage budgeting and delivery milestones, guide data architecture decisions, and apply Databricks-based solutions to convert raw data into actionable insights for business growth.

Responsibilities

• Leading Databricks data engineering workstreams across client delivery teams
• Designing and building data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic for cloud-based platforms
• Guiding data architecture decisions for data lake and data warehouse environments
• Managing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery milestones for assigned engagements
• Reviewing technical design, code, and pipeline logic to validate performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Applying Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform to automate data movement and processing
• Developing scalable data models, dimensional structures, and validation routines for analytics use cases
• Coaching team members on data engineering methods, delivery approaches, and problem-solving techniques
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and delivery issues, then escalating blockers when needed
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions and actionable implementation plans

As a Data Engineers - Databricks - Manager you will lead data engineering work that designs and builds data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Manager you will motivate, develop, and coach team members, manage performance against client expectations, and bring a practical understanding of business priorities to complex delivery work. In this role at PwC, you will guide teams developing data infrastructure and systems that help convert raw data into insights for decision-making and business growth.

As a Manager you will take ownership of planning, budgeting, execution, and completion of assigned workstreams while helping colleagues build their technical skills and deliver consistent outcomes. You will apply technology and innovation to improve delivery, address issues with clients and internal stakeholders, and validate that work aligns with professional and technical standards. In this role at PwC, you will also help shape delivery across data engineering efforts, drawing on Databricks experience to support scalable solutions and dependable execution.

What You Must Have
