Accenture Research in Hyderabad is seeking a senior data engineering professional to support global projects. You will design and maintain cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data governance and quality across multi-source datasets.

The role invites collaboration with multinational teams, mentoring, and management of dedicated research budgets and external partnerships.

Qualifications

This role is in Accenture Research Global Data Science Team, and it will be fully dedicated to support research projects in terms of data provisioning and development of research solutions. We are looking for curious candidates that will combine data engineering skills, creativity, and analytical capabilities to accelerate Accenture's data-driven business research and insight discovery. The opportunity includes managing complex data-driven research projects with multinational and multidisciplinary teams and offers coaching, supervision, and mentoring while managing dedicated research budgets and relationships with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Support global and local research projects on themes aligned to Accenture Research global priorities and efforts.
• Design, develop and maintain data solutions in a cloud environment.
• Promote and implement best practices and modern approaches for big data processing and management.

Experience and skills

Hard skills

• Practice in designing and developing data pipelines and process orchestration.
• Experience in designing data architecture and governance, data warehousing, data quality management, and master data management.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform with a focus on data services such as Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Dataflow, and AlloyDB. Experience with alternative cloud platforms in a similar scope is also acceptable.
• Excellent knowledge of Python for processing structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in SQL for processing large datasets.
• Fluency in working on Linux operating systems.
• Experience in developing Machine Learning / AI tools is a plus, especially NLP and Gen AI solutions.
• Practice in development of application integration solutions is an advantage.

Additional Information

Reports to: Research Principal Director in Data Science Research. Education: BA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar. A Master’s degree is a plus. Work Experience: 12+ years of experience in data engineering or a related area. Location: Hyderabad, India. Preferred start date: At the earliest.
