Optum India is seeking a senior data engineer to design scalable data pipelines and IDM data integration solutions. You will build identity analytics capabilities using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark, while aligning with security and governance requirements.

The role requires 7.5+ years in data engineering, hands-on cloud experience, and strong collaboration with IDM architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise identity data solutions.

Qualificações

• 7.5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Lang Chain, Agents, RAG, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and fine-tuning.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks.
• Solid SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT development experience.

• Design and optimize data models, data lakes, and warehouse structures for identity analytics, access reviews, compliance reporting, and audit requirements.
• Design and implement solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Spark, or equivalent cloud-native data platforms.
• Optimize ETL/ELT processes, automate data workflows, and improve pipeline reliability, scalability, and monitoring.
• Ensure data engineering solutions comply with security standards, privacy regulations, audit requirements, and enterprise IAM policies.
• Collaborate with IDM architects, security teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver enterprise identity data solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines
• Develop IDM data integration solutions
• Implement data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency of identity-related data
• Design and optimize data models, data lakes, and warehouse structures to support identity analytics, access reviews, compliance reporting, and audit requirements
• Design and implement solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Spark, or equivalent cloud-native data platforms
• Optimize ETL/ELT processes, automate data workflows, and improve pipeline reliability, scalability, and monitoring
• Ensure data engineering solutions comply with security standards, privacy regulations, audit requirements, and enterprise IAM policies
• Work closely with IDM architects, security teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver enterprise identity data solutions
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications

• 7.5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent cloud platforms
• Hands on experience in Generative AI technologies including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Lang Chain, Agents, RAG, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and fine-tuning
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks
• Solid SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT development experience
