Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer, with hands-on work in Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, and Prefect orchestration. API experience is preferred and NodeJS familiarity is a plus.

You will contribute to building scalable data pipelines and data platforms for Fortune 500 clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing data processing costs while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 Years working as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Snowflake and DBT knowledge.
• GitHub and Prefect orchestration experience.
• API experience preferred; NodeJS beneficial.

• Manage Snowflake infrastructure—including virtual warehouses, clustering keys, role-based security, and resource monitors—to maximize query performance and control costs.
