Job summary

Cisco in Hyderabad is seeking a data operations professional to strengthen our customer and partner data delivery. You will partner with Ops delivery leads and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely data foundations across Cisco’s functions.

The role emphasizes hands-on data analysis using SQL/PLSQL, Excel/Access, and AI-enabled enrichment, with a focus on data integrity and collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 to 8 years data delivery experience.
• Proven experience achieving business outcomes in a fast paced highly cross-functional organization.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL for data analysis.
• Strong knowledge on Geo Postal data maintenance.
• Strong Agile (Scrum) experience.

Responsibilities

• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities, including advanced data analysis skills using MS Excel/Access, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and highlight business opportunities.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective business partnering capabilities.
• Validates data from various third-party sources and develops strategies for optimal utilization.
• Applies AI techniques such as predictive analytics, LLM, NLP, and intelligent data enrichment.
• Possesses solid business knowledge, enabling the integration and extraction of data from multiple sources to support solutions with high data integrity.
• Adopts a problem-solving mindset and collaborates effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
• Connect with different stake holders, cross functional teams, Ops teams and IT teams for understanding data issues and fixes
• Self-motivated, results-driven, proactive, and adaptable; able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while being a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Our team works in a fast-paced, complex environment. We have the opportunity and obligation to provide accurate and timely foundation data to different functions across Cisco. In this role, you will work very closely with Ops delivery lead on Customer and partner Data Operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will also get to work with several cross functional stakeholders, vendors, technical IT teams, senior leadership and customers / partners. We are a highly collaborative and energetic team focused on innovation and thought leadership.

• Previous experience in Cisco tools like Customer master data, SAVM, SFDC, SHARE, PDB, PGTMV, CAV etc.
• Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity but seek clarification when needed
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
