Job summary

Cisco Bengaluru is seeking a data delivery professional to join a fast-paced, cross-functional data operations team. You will partner with Ops delivery leads and IT groups to ensure accurate data foundation across Cisco functions, while applying AI techniques to enrich data and identify opportunities.

The role emphasizes data integrity, collaboration with vendors and senior leadership, and delivering actionable business insights using SQL/PL/EDA in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• 4 to 8 years data delivery experience.
• Proven experience achieving business outcomes in a fast paced, cross-functional organization.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis.
• Strong knowledge on Geo Postal data maintenance.
• Strong Agile (Scrum) experience.

Responsibilities

• Work very closely with Ops delivery lead on Customer and partner Data Operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, vendors, technical IT teams, senior leadership and customers / partners.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and highlight business opportunities.
• Validate data from various third-party sources and develop strategies for optimal utilization.
• Apply AI techniques such as predictive analytics, LLM, NLP, and intelligent data enrichment.
• Demonstrate solid business knowledge enabling data integration/extraction from multiple sources to support solutions with high data integrity.
• Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to solve data issues and fixes.
• Connect with stakeholders, cross functional teams, Ops teams and IT teams to understand data issues.
• Be self-motivated, results-driven, proactive, and adaptable; work independently in a fast-paced environment while being a collaborative team player.

Our team works in a fast-paced, complex environment. We have the opportunity and obligation to provide accurate and timely foundation data to different functions across Cisco. In this role, you will work very closely with Ops delivery lead on Customer and partner Data Operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will also get to work with several cross functional stakeholders, vendors, technical IT teams, senior leadership and customers / partners. Your Impact

• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities, including advanced data analysis skills using MS Excel/Access, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and highlight business opportunities.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective business partnering capabilities.
• Validates data from various third-party sources and develops strategies for optimal utilization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field
• Minimum 4 to 8 years data delivery experience
• Proven experience achieving business outcomes, in a fast paced highly cross-functional organization
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL for data analysis
• Strong knowledge on Geo Postal data maintenance
• Strong Agile (Scrum) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in AI-powered analytics solutions that improved business decision accuracy and reduced manual reporting effort.
• Strong understanding of Cisco’s Go to Market Strategies.
• Previous experience in Cisco tools like Customer master data, SAVM, SFDC, SHARE, PDB, PGTMV, CAV etc.
• Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity but seek clarification when needed
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
