Job summary

LetzBizz is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (PL/SQL, Oracle) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions. The role focuses on Oracle PL/SQL development and robust ETL pipelines across multiple source systems. You will optimize performance and contribute to data quality, governance, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/PL/SQL skills, and experience with large-scale data platforms. Chennai/Pune client offices, WFO five days.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Database Development.
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Proven experience in ETL design and implementation.
Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database objects.
Experience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects: stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, collections, materialized views.
Develop and support robust ETL pipelines from multiple sources.
Perform data modeling: logical/physical modeling, normalization, dimensional modeling.
Optimize SQL/PL/SQL for performance and maintainability.
Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.
Collaborate with BAs, Architects, Applications, and Data Analysts.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and CI/CD deployments.

Design and implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
Troubleshoot production data issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Develop batch processing solutions and automate data workflows.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Application Teams, and Data Analysts.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
