Role Overview

As a Data Engineer – Manager – Operate, you will play a pivotal role in our Managed Services team, focusing on delivering outsourced solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs and enhance efficiency for our clients. Your expertise in project management, technology and process optimisation will be crucial in managing key processes and functions on behalf of our clients. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You will be accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards, enhancing your leadership style, motivating, developing and inspiring others to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in IBM DataStage, SQL Server, DB2, AWS, RCA and monthly reporting, along with team and stakeholder management skills.
• Leading managed services workstreams to streamline operations and enhance client efficiency.
• Managing delivery teams and overseeing project planning, budgeting and execution.
• Implementing process optimisation strategies to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
• Utilising automation frameworks to enhance business process automation and operational performance.
• Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and deliver quality outcomes.
• Engaging in strategic questioning to identify opportunities for business transformation.
• Facilitating continuous process improvement initiatives to drive service excellence.
