Job summary

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data pipelines using IICS across multiple sources.
• Lead design reviews and produce artefacts (DFDs, STTMs, NFR).
• Drive SIT and UAT with test strategies and defect resolution.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers on best practices.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on solution design.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and data quality checks.

Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineering Developer with deep expertise in IICS and Amazon Redshift to lead the design and delivery of complex data pipelines, mentor junior team members, and drive technical standards across the engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver end-to-end data pipelines using IICS across multiple source systems (S3, SFTP, MFT, SQL Server, Redshift). Design scalable Redshift schemas including staging, transformation, and target layers with attention to performance and cost optimization.
• Lead technical design reviews and produce artefacts such as DFDs, STTMs, and NFR documentation.
• Drive SIT and UAT - design test strategies, review test cases, and manage defect resolution.
• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with architects, functional leads, and client stakeholders on solution design and delivery approach.
• Identify and implement process improvements - automation of manual steps, pipeline monitoring, audit logging frameworks, and data quality checks.

Required skills:

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years hands-on with IICS.
• Advanced SQL and Redshift expertise - complex transformations, window functions, performance tuning, and warehouse management.
• Experience with multi-environment deployments (dev, val, prod) on AWS.
• Proven ability to design and deliver production-grade pipelines with audit logging, error handling, and alerting.
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and validation strategies.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
