Job summary

Apidel Technologies is hiring a Data Engineer II to design and implement scalable data migrations and pipelines on the AWS data stack. You will optimize complex SQL, build robust data models, and modernize legacy ETL ecosystems.

The role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience and hands-on AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda expertise, with Python or Java/Scala proficiency. Hyderabad on-site role with immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/EC required.
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with large-scale data migrations.
• Strong expertise in Complex SQL and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, S3, Glue & Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python (Preferred) or Java/Scala.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and legacy tools such as Informatica or SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schemas, and Data Warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute large-scale data migration projects.
• Develop highly optimized SQL queries and perform in-depth data analysis.
• Build and manage data pipelines using AWS services.
• Automate data workflows using Python (preferred) or Java/Scala.
• Reverse engineer legacy ETL systems and modernize data platforms.
• Design robust data models following dimensional modeling best practices.
