Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India in Bengaluru is seeking a Data Engineer – Experienced Associate to develop data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions, collaborating with global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services to drive digital transformation.

You will work hands-on with modern data engineering tools and AI-enabled initiatives, gaining exposure to Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, and other cloud platforms while learning and growing within the PwC ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related technology roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions with Python, SQL, Spark, and modern tools.
• Support data engineering on cloud platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Sigma, or similar.
• Build and enhance cloud data solutions using Azure services and related technologies.
• Apply data modeling and data lake/lakehouse/warehouse principles to support business analytics.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to improve quality.
• Support CI/CD, version control, and development best practices.
• Contribute to AI initiatives by supporting Generative AI, RAG, and other AI capabilities.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and practices to improve skills and delivery.

• Support data engineering initiatives on modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Sigma, or similar technologies.

• Build and enhance cloud-based data solutions using Azure services and related technologies.

• Apply data modeling concepts and data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse principles to support business and analytics requirements.

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective technical solutions.

• Participate in testing, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities to improve solution quality and reliability.

• Support CI/CD, version control, and development best practices to enable efficient solution delivery.

• Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives by supporting Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and other emerging AI capabilities.

• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and engineering practices to improve technical skills and delivery outcomes.

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related technology roles.
