Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Pune, India is seeking a Senior BI/DW Engineer with 6+ years IT experience, including at least 2 years on Azure modern data platform. You will work with Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse and Azure Data Lake to design scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in data modelling, Parquet/Delta Lake formats and experience with ETL tools like Informatica, IBM Datastage, and SSIS, plus working with GitHub, GitFlow and agile practices (Scrum/XP/Kanban).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience in the BI/DW domain with at least 2 years on Azure data platforms.
• Expert in building data structures optimized for storage and various query patterns (Parquet, Delta Lake).
• Experience with traditional ETL tools (Informatica, IBM Datastage, Microsoft SSIS).
• Proficient with large codebases using GitHub, GitFlow, Fork/Pull Model.
• Familiar with Agile methods (SCRUM, XP, Kanban).

Experience: 6+Years

Location: Pune

4+ years of relevant IT experience in the BI/DW domain with minimum 2 years of hands-on experience on Azure modern data platform that includes Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse (Azure SQL DW) and Azure Data Lake .

Expert in creating data structures optimized for storage and various query patterns for e.g. Parquet and Delta Lake .

Experience in traditional data warehousing / ETL tools (Informatica, IBM Datastage, Microsoft SSIS)

• Proficient at working with large and complex code bases (Github, Gitflow, Fork/Pull Model)
• Working experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Kanban)
