Job summary

Wipro in Pune/Bangalore/Coimbatore/Gurgaon seeks a senior data engineer to design and optimize large-scale data platforms across AWS. You will implement medallion architectures, data lakes, and lakehouse patterns while building robust Airflow pipelines and Spark jobs.

Strong data modelling and deployment in multiple environments are essential. Experience with Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, SQS, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, and Scala is highly valued as you collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Proficient in SQL/PL-SQL scripting and data modelling.
• Hands-on with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, Lambda) and Spark.

3 DAYS WFO- Mandate

Location - Pune, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Gurgaon

Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent understanding and design experience of Big Data platform, Data Lake, Lakehouse architecture, Medallion architecture and modern data architecture.
• Excellent in SQL/PL-SQL scripting in columnar database
• Excellent Data Modelling experience
• Strong skills in Redshift, SQL, PL-SQL, Glue, PySpark, Spark, S3, Shell scripting
• Strong skills in Airflow, Kinesis, Step function and related ETL-DW data services
• Develop, enhance & optimize data pipelines using AWS service, custom ETL tools and automating data pipelines.
• Experience in code deployment in various environments
• Designing job scheduling, optimizing airflow job orchestration, designing batch/stream monitoring in systems, usage tracking etc.
• Excellent implementation skills in AWS tech stack, ETL & ELT, DW BI, EMR, S3, SQS, Step function, Lambda, Scala.3
