Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a data engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across multiple sources. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate requirements into robust solutions, optimize data platforms for performance and security, and implement strong data quality checks.

The role involves working with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, maintaining documentation, and staying current with data engineering trends to drive reliable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data integration concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration from various sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Optimize and improve existing data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Manage and monitor data environments, including data lakes and warehouses, ensuring data availability and security.
• Work with cloud services to build and maintain data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data systems, processes, and protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them as necessary.
