Job summary

Calsoft Japan is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines. You will lead cloud migration, platform modernization, and responsible for data quality across Snowflake, BigQuery, and ETL/ELT processes.

You’ll develop BI dashboards using Looker and Mode, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cost-efficient data solutions.

Calsoft : Hiring: Senior Data Engineer | 7+ Years Experience

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and work on enterprise-scale data platforms, cloud data migration, data pipelines, integrations, and BI solutions.

Locations: Pune | Indore | Bangalore | Kolkata

• Design, build, maintain, and support production-grade data pipelines and data platforms.
• Lead cloud data migration and platform modernization initiatives, including planning, execution, deployment, and production support.
• Design, optimize, and operate scalable cloud data solutions using Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain BI and reporting platforms such as Looker/Mode, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Work extensively with SQL and Python to troubleshoot and resolve complex data quality, performance, and integration issues.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and production support.
• Develop and maintain marketing data integrations with search engines, social media platforms, and other third-party data sources.
• Build and support internal and external API integrations, including data ingestion, validation, transformation, and monitoring.
• Apply strong data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts to develop scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient data solutions.
• Own complex technical solutions end-to-end — from design and implementation through deployment and production support.
• Work with distributed data technologies and cloud platforms, with experience in AWS or Azure, and frameworks such as Spark or Kafka.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
