Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Data Engineer for its Toro Technology Center India in Pune. You will design and maintain data pipelines, implement a Snowflake data warehouse, and collaborate with data science teams to ensure accurate, secure, and accessible data.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data engineering, experience with Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, SQL, and Python/JavaScript, and familiarity with Azure cloud services. This hybrid role is based in Baner, Pune.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with Fivetran, dbt and Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.

What Will You Do?

What Do You Need?

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong experience with Fivetran, dbt and Snowflake
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience migrating from SQL Server to Snowflake a plus
