Job summary

Awign Expert in India seeks a senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of streaming and enterprise data pipelines. You will own technical direction, make architectural trade-offs, and work directly with onsite clients in the US.

This is a builder-plus-owner role where you write code, review designs, debug production issues, and set engineering standards, with a strong emphasis on data governance, PII security, and scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills with complex analytics and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Python, Java, or .NET (C#).
• Deep experience with Confluent; streaming with Apache Flink or similar.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate real-time and near-real-time data pipelines.
• Lead design, development, and operation; set engineering standards.
• Collaborate with onsite clients in the US; ensure secure PII handling.

We are hiring one Data Engineer to lead the
