Job summary

Nagarro, a Digital Product Engineering company, is hiring a skilled Data Engineer focused on real-time data processing. You will build and maintain scalable streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka and Flink, with Java at the core, across mission-critical environments in South Asia.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver low-latency solutions and ensure data quality, security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on real-time streaming.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience across enterprise-grade apps.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, Kafka Connect).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for real-time stream processing and fault-tolerant pipelines.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable real-time streaming data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, high-throughput, low-latency processing.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation, and processing in streaming contexts.
• Preference for experience in Banking/Financial Services environments.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
