Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric experience to design and optimize scalable data solutions for analytics and business operations.

You will work with Fabric, PySpark, SQL, Python, and Azure Data Factory to build end-to-end data pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse models, and data governance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience in production environments.
• Experience with Fabric Data Pipelines, Data Flows Gen2, and Fabric Notebooks.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills; Azure Data Factory experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions with Python, PySpark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
• Build Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Delta Lake, and Fabric Warehouse solutions.
• Ingest data from databases, files, APIs and third-party systems.
• Develop data transformations, cleansing, validation, and data quality checks.
• Design dimensional and semantic data models for analytics.
• Optimize pipelines, Spark workloads, and SQL queries for performance.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric experience to build and optimize scalable data solutions supporting analytics and business operations.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory, and can clearly explain the projects they have personally designed and delivered, including the business problem, technical approach, challenges, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Pipelines, Data Flows Gen2, and Notebooks.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
• Build and manage Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Delta Lake, and Fabric Warehouse solutions.
• Ingest data from databases, files, third‑party systems, and REST APIs.
• Develop data transformations, cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
• Design dimensional, semantic, and analytical data models.
• Optimize pipelines, Spark workloads, and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Support Power BI, DAX, and semantic models for analytics and reporting.
• Implement data governance, security, monitoring, and production support.
• Document solutions and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on Microsoft Fabric experience in production environments.
• Experience with Fabric Data Pipelines, Data Flows Gen2, and Fabric Notebooks.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Delta Lake, and/or Fabric Warehouse.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality.
• Ability to clearly explain personal contributions, technical decisions, challenges, and business impact of previous projects.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Preferred: Power BI/DAX, SSAS Tabular, MDM, REST APIs, and data governance
